We invite applications for a full time permanent position as Associate Professor in Pharmacoepidemiology and Health Data Analytics at the Section for Pharmaceutics and Social Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy, University of Oslo.
The Department of Pharmacy at the University of Oslo is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative researcher with strong scientific, educational and collaborative skills in pharmacoepidemiology, health data analytics and real-world evidence generation.
The position will be affiliated with the Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety (PharmaSafe) research group in the Section for Pharmaceutics and Social Pharmacy. The research group has extensive experience in pharmacoepidemiology and real-world evidence generation using nationwide Norwegian health registries and population-based cohorts to study use, effectiveness and safety of medications and vaccines. Combined with access to advanced e-infrastructure, secure analysis platforms and strong national and international collaborations, the research environment offers unique opportunities for high-impact research using linked healthcare data.
The successful candidate is expected to strengthen the Department’s research in pharmacoepidemiology, health data analytics and AI-enabled real-world evidence generation with a particular emphasis on the innovative use of large-scale healthcare datasets.
