Undergraduate courses: Introduction to English Linguistics, English Linguistics, Practical English Grammar, The English Language in Elementary Schools, Basic Seminar for Educational Practice, English (Reading), English Communication, Practical Seminar for the Teaching Profession, Graduation Study, and others
Graduate courses: Basic Seminar on English Language Education, Seminar on School Subject Content for English Language Education, Exploration of Educational Issues, Self-Design Learning, Studies on Educational Practice (English Language), the courses related to teaching practice, and others

Wages description: The above amounts are calculated based on basic annual salary, performance-based salary, and regional allowance. In addition to the above, various allowances are paid. - It is suggested that the successful applicant should dwell in the vicinity of Naruto after employed.

- In principle, finalists will be invited for an interview* with a teaching demonstration at the university. Finalists’ expenses for travel and accommodation for the interview will not be reimbursed. *The interview will be conducted in Japanese to assess the candidate’s Japanese language ability necessary to perform duties at the university.
- The university has a policy for recruitment in which the decision is not to be influenced by applicants’ nationality or gender. In cases where two or more finalists are equal in qualifications and achievements, the university will give preference to female applicants.
- Even if the successful candidate is a local government employee prior to employment at the university, the university will not count his or her years of service as a local government employee in the calculation of his or her retirement allowance from the university.
