The successful candidate will lead an established collaborative piano degree program in the areas of instrumental and vocal music; teach lessons, mentor and advise MM and DMA collaborative piano students; oversee all collaborative piano curricula; organize graduate assistant collaborative partnership assignments; coach chamber ensembles; and teach courses in sonata repertoire and vocal coaching.

The candidate will have a record of successful teaching at the collegiate-conservatory level, a nationally recognized performance profile, and the ability to recruit high-level collaborative piano majors at the MM and DMA levels. Refined skills in leadership, communication and organization are critical for a successful candidate who will work closely with staff and faculty colleagues to support collaborative piano majors as well as the students with whom they partner. Experience in successful interactions with faculty colleagues in opera, orchestra, wind ensemble, choral and all applied areas is essential. 

A terminal degree in music performance is required. This position is expected to be made at the level of associate professor (non-tenure track).
