Associate Professor of Sociology

General Conditions

• A proven track record of teaching and research excellence at the university level, with a minimum of 5 years of higher education teaching and research experience.
• A strong and consistent record of research and publication in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Clarivate Web of Science.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, program development, and academic course management.
• Experience in accreditation, quality assurance, and academic program review processes, preferably in accordance with CAA standards.
• Dedication to continued professional development and scholarly advancement.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English, orally and in writing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple academic and professional priorities effectively.
• Advanced use of technology in the education process, including presentations, e-learning systems, digital learning tools, academic reporting, and related technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interactive and multidisciplinary academic environment.
• Commitment to the highest standards of academic integrity, professionalism, teaching excellence, and scholarly responsibility.
• Willingness to provide all necessary and required academic, administrative, research, and community services to the University and College.
