Area of expertise: Structural materials contributing to the solution of environmental problems
Desired candidates:
- Those who have a doctoral degree and possess outstanding research abilities in their specialized field.
- Those who are able to be responsible for education and research in the field of structural materials from the standpoint of mechanical science.
- Those who are able to play multiple roles in acquiring external fundings, involving in industry-academia collaboration and community contribution, and working on the internationalization of the university and department.

Basic subjects and specialized subjects provided in the research department, concurrent graduate school, and undergraduate department shown in the affiliation. You may also be responsible for liberal arts education subjects.

Annual salary: 6 million yen
Wages description: [Associate Professor] Annual Salary : 7 million yen ~ [Lecturer] Annual Salary : 6 million yen ~ Subject to the Regulations on Salaries for Staff Subject to the Annual Salary System at Tokushima University. The amount stated above is based on the experience and qualifications anticipated by the University; the actual calculated amount may vary depending on the individual's specific experience and qualifications.
Working hours: 08:30-17:15
Break time: 12:00-13:00
Holidays: Every Saturday and Sunday, national holidays (as defined by the Act on National Holidays), and the year-end/New Year period.
Overtime and other explanations: Subject to the Tokushima University Employment Regulations. Discretionary Labor System for Specialized Works (Work performed on a scheduled workday is regarded as 7 hours and 45 minutes of work; the means of executing tasks and the allocation of time will be left to the individual's discretion.)
