Qualifications
(1) Must hold a doctoral degree and be qualified to supervise doctoral students.
(2) Must possess the ability to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels and demonstrate enthusiasm for education and research supervision.
Desired Candidate Profile
(1) Capable of conducting research in the field of ecology or environmental engineering. Candidates should ideally be conducting practical research on Eco-DRR (Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction), watershed-based flood control, NbS (Nature-based Solutions), and the implementation and utilization of green infrastructure. It is particularly desirable for candidates to be capable of conducting research aimed at practical social implementation in collaboration with researchers from other fields related to infrastructure design.
(2) Candidates capable of teaching basic courses in fields such as ecology and environmental engineering (e.g., ecosystem conservation, environmental ecology, ecological design of landscape, advanced environmental ecology, green infrastructure) and infrastructure design.
(3) A candidate capable of playing an active role on the international stage by securing external funding, actively engaging in industry-academia collaboration, and contributing to the globalization of the university and faculty.

Basic and specialized subjects offered in the research department, graduate school, and undergraduate department shown in the affiliation. Liberal arts education courses may also be taught. Specific subjects will be determined after an interview, taking specialization into consideration.
