The new faculty member would be expected to participate in clinical and translational research related to hematology, and to engage in training of medical residents, fellows, and others associated with the Division. ...

Key Responsibilities:

• Ambulatory-based patient care, caring for patients with hematologic pathologic conditions
• Lead a group of faculty members dedicated to classical hematology
• Partner with Hospital and School of Medicine partners to build a hematology program
• Supervising nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, fellows, residents, and medical students as needed
• Carrying out a research program
• Participating in and leading outreach activities, including outreach clinics outside the CU-Anschutz campus, educational events for patients and their families, camps for patients, work with patient advocacy groups, and other similar initiatives

Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite full time, in various sites on the Anschutz Medical Campus located in Aurora, CO.
