Requirements
- Hold a postdoctoral degree (doktor habilitowany) in Management and Quality Studies or a postdoctoral degree in Economics awarded under the previous classification system, as well as a doctoral degree obtained no later than 2010.
- Have at least 15 years of research experience and clearly defined research interests within the discipline of Management and Quality Studies, particularly in marketing, organisational behaviour, or other contemporary management issues.
- Have a documented record of original scholarly achievements, including:
- a) authorship or co-authorship of scholarly monographs;
- b) publications in peer-reviewed academic journals and with nationally or internationally recognised publishers;
- c) publications in English;
- d) publications based on the results of the candidate’s own empirical research;
- e) both sole-authored and co-authored publications to which the candidate has made a substantial intellectual contribution.
- Have experience in preparing and implementing national or international research, educational, or implementation projects, both as a project leader or coordinator and as a team member. This experience should include, in particular, drafting project proposals, building teams, planning activities and deliverables, coordinating cooperation between project partners, and disseminating project results.
- Have documented experience of international cooperation, demonstrated in particular through participation in international projects and research teams, research fellowships, study visits, summer schools, or academic mobility programmes, as well as through teaching courses, delivering lectures, or conducting seminars at foreign universities.
- Actively participate in national and international academic life, as demonstrated in particular by:
- a) delivering presentations at academic conferences and symposia;
- b) organising conferences, seminars, and other academic events;
- c) participating in research teams and networks;
- d) reviewing academic publications or research proposals;
- e) holding membership in national or international academic organisations.
- Have experience in teaching at university level, including developing curricula, course syllabi, and teaching materials, as well as applying active learning methods such as case studies, team projects, and workshops.
- Have proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum of CEFR level C1, sufficient to teach university courses, present research findings, prepare academic publications, and participate effectively in international projects.
- Have experience of cooperation with the socio-economic environment, particularly with businesses, public institutions, and civil society organisations. Such experience may include delivering training, providing consultancy services, conducting organisational or HR audits and applied research, or preparing expert reports.
- Have experience in disseminating research findings and communicating academic knowledge to wider audiences, including through expert presentations and cooperation with the media and representatives of professional and business communities.
- Demonstrate highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills, including:
- a) the ability to plan and conduct research independently;
- b) the ability to work effectively in research, teaching, and project teams;
- c) experience in coordinating teams or project activities;
- d) the ability to manage time effectively and undertake research, teaching, and organisational responsibilities simultaneously;
- e) punctuality, reliability, and accountability for achieving the intended outcomes;
- f) highly developed communication skills and the ability to foster effective cooperation;
- g) a commitment to the continuous improvement of research and teaching skills.
- Be willing to participate actively in the organisational activities of the employing unit, particularly by serving on teams and committees, organising academic events, developing international cooperation and relations with the socio-economic environment, and initiating new research, project-based, and teaching initiatives.
- Be willing to affiliate academic publications with the employing university and to undertake research, project-based, teaching, and organisational activities that contribute to the development of the discipline of Management and Quality Studies.
- Meet the requirements for appointment to the position of university professor, as stipulated in the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science and in the University’s Statute.
Additional assets will include:
- proficiency in graphic design software;
- completion of training courses aimed at enhancing teaching skills;
- completion of training courses in team and organisational management.
