position, we seek applicants with an established track record of impactful research addressing core aspects of human mental health using conceptual approaches, methods, and techniques that complement current areas of expertise within the Department. We welcome a broad range of research foci, from characterizing resilient vs. dysfunctional behavior and experience across the lifespan to designing interventions at the individual or community level. Multimethod approaches may be rooted in any of a variety of fields, including (but not limited to) clinical, affective, social, community, health, developmental and cognitive (neuro)science/psychology. Diverse types of methodological expertise are welcome, including research with normative and/or clinical populations using behavioral, psychophysiological, neuroendocrine, neuroimaging, computational and/or AI approaches. The successful candidate will be expected to help anchor and foster the growth of mental health research as a core area within the Department of Psychology. Applicants for the position must possess a doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field and have demonstrated the ability to conduct pioneering research, as well as exhibit excellence in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
