Associate Vice President (AVP) of Workforce & Commerce City Campus
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Workforce & Commerce City Campus is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the strategic vision, development, and operational oversight of workforce education initiatives and the Commerce City Campus. Reporting to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, the AVP provides direct supervision of the Dean of Workforce, the Workforce Program Assistant, and Workforce Faculty.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- In partnership with our cross divisional workforce and corporate college model, develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for workforce education and the Commerce City Campus aligned with institutional goals and regional labor market needs
- Serve as the primary institutional leader for the growth and sustainability of skilled trades programs and non-credit, industry-aligned credentials
Supervision & Team Leadership
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluation for the Dean of Workforce, Workforce Program Assistant, and Workforce Faculty
Commerce City Campus Oversight
- Serve as the senior administrative leader for the Commerce City Campus, ensuring effective operations, programming, and community engagement
Workforce Program Development & Implementation
- Lead the design, launch, and continuous improvement of skilled trades offerings and non-credit credential programs
Center for Adult Education
- In partnership with the Dean of Workforce, provide administrative oversight of programming within the Center for Adult Education
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage budgets for workforce programming and the Commerce City Campus
Data, Assessment & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for workforce programs, including enrollment, completion, credential attainment, and employment outcomes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution (required)
- Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in workforce development, career and technical education, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctoral degree in education, workforce development, organizational leadership, or a related discipline
