In partnership with the Vice President and frontline development staff, the AVP will set ambitious yet achievable goals, while developing and executing comprehensive strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of key prospects. The AVP will also manage a personal portfolio of leadership and principal gift prospects and secure significant philanthropic support for institutional fundraising priorities. The Associate Vice President for Development will oversee and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, ensuring strong performance management, professional development, and a culture of excellence. They will be a key leader in the execution of a multi-year comprehensive campaign, including the creation of detailed timelines, benchmarks, and progress reports and leveraging of data analytics to inform campaign strategies. Serving as a key partner to leadership, the Assistant Vice President will regularly report on the campaign's results and successes, offering insights for continued growth and refinement.
