The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is looking to hire immediately an Associate/Full Professor for the Computer Science department. We are a four-year, liberal arts private university situated in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, about an hour south of Sofia.

Role:
- Teach 6 courses per academic year.
- Teach 3 courses in Fall and 3 courses in Spring.
- Courses could be in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.
- Engage in scholarly research.
- Advise students.
- Contribute to the life of the Department, the University, and the broader community through active service and collaboration.
Candidate profile:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Informatics or a closely related computational field.
- Rank of Associate or Full Professor at current institution.
- Habilitated (strong preference). AUBG especially welcomes applications from candidates who are habilitated in Bulgaria or another European country.
- Research publications.
- Experience teaching similar college-level courses in English.
- Teaching experience in a liberal arts environment, or willingness to adapt to the American liberal arts style of teaching.
