Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks related to the internal, external, development, and communications segments of the department
- Game day operations - help putting on the best game day experience for fans in every facet of the building
- This individual performs the role of an internal beat reporter, focusing on telling compelling stories in written, video, social media, graphics or other innovative formats.
- Generating and overseeing the distribution of record books/media guides, news articles and short-form video, stats and social media interactions.
- Responsible for developing external media relationships and managing media requests for assigned sports as well as managing gameday media relations duties including statistics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Organizational skills; ability to multi-task/manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, strategic-thinking skills; willingness to take initiative and learn.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills along with strong customer service skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and within a team structure.
- Proficiency in office software systems such as: MS Word, Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
