Audio Visual Technical Lead

Job Description

Specialist AV role supporting AUT's teaching spaces, meeting rooms and specialist environments

Hands-on, varied technical work across a large, modern university with a small specialist team

Permanent, full-time role with AUT's Client Facing Technology team, ICT Services

Key responsibilities include:

Providing specialist AV technical support across AUT's teaching spaces, meeting rooms and specialist environments
Coordinating and delivering proactive maintenance across AUT's learning environments
Maintaining and applying consistent AV standards, quality checks and operational readiness across existing spaces, new installations and upgrades
Supporting the evaluation, testing and deployment of new AV technologies and system updates
Working with vendors and service partners to support reliable AV outcomes and inform technology decisions
Sharing technical knowledge and practical guidance with ICT colleagues
