Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- Focusing on the goal of advancing education and research in automotive science, our curriculum is designed for students to improve their skills to work on sophisticated and complicated challenges, by developing a high level of expertise and methodology, as an independent researcher or expert.
- Specifically, we will design our curriculum based on the following policy: The curriculum will be designed for students to acquire a high level of expertise and methodology, keeping the end goal (automotive science) in mind.
- We will put a system in place to provide research training for students to develop their skills as an independent researcher or expert in a closely supervised setting.
- We will establish a research guidance system for students to develop their skills to work on automotive-related issues from a variety of aspects and through an interdisciplinary approach.

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Those who hold a Master's degree or a Professional degree, or who will earn one by March 31st.
- Those who hold a degree equivalent to a Master's degree or a Professional degree from an accredited institution outside of Japan, or who will obtain one by March 31st.
- Those who have completed their formal education by taking a correspondence course through a non-Japanese university while residing in Japan, and hold a degree equivalent to a Master's degree or a Professional degree, or who will obtain one by March 31st.
- Those who have earned a degree from a graduate program at an educational institution in a country outside of Japan, which has been assessed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan to be equivalent to a graduate program in the education system of Japan, or who will earn one by March 31st.
