Automotive Social Media Assistant WS, Student
Job Summary
The LBCC Automotive Department Social Media Intern will work closely with LBCC marketing professionals and automotive department personnel to develop social media strategies that promote the Automotive program at LBCC. This includes taking photos, assisting with social media postings and other similar tasks. Must have reliable transportation to all LBCC campuses.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience: Must maintain enrollment in at least six (6) credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: All tasks must be done efficiently and with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn, professional digital communication, and positive attitude when trying to accomplish new tasks from college looking for a growth opportunity. Must be able to operate general office equipment, including computers for word processing. Requires the ability to perform the essential responsibilities of the position under limited supervision. Must demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret staff instructions in order to assist students and support staff. Accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Physical Skills and Abilities: Must be able to operate a computer and/or other office equipment and various other equipment dependent on the assignment.
Working Conditions: The majority of the work is performed indoors with no exposure to safety and health hazards.
Essential Duties
- Assisting customers.
- Cycle counting, inventory auditing, comparing physical inventory against inventory needs, restocking, documenting inventory discrepancies, material handling.
- Assist with marketing and social media marketing.
- Social networking with a purpose-share value and get people to sign up. Other outreach via social media/video conferencing.
- Attending and planning team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
