Aviation Affiliate Instructor
Department: Aviation & Aerospace Science
The Department of Aviation and Aerospace Science at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions.
Responsibilities: Teaching assigned classes in person or online, preparing course materials, grading student work, providing feedback, addressing student questions, and providing academic support. Instruction must align with course syllabus and department policies. Candidates should be sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population.
Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree for aviation-related courses. FAA Certification is required for specific pilot ground and simulator courses, and must be current according to FARs.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in aviation or related field, or a master's/doctorate in aviation; four or more years of industry experience.
Terms of Employment: Part-time, at-will, per credit hour basis. Not eligible for benefits. Teaching is in person/on campus.
