Job Details
Successful candidates be expected to:
- Teach courses within our undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Advise students on academic matters and career planning.
- Serve on College and University committees as assigned.
- Obtain external funding for, and/or conduct research in contemporary issues.
- Supervise graduate students conducting research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in related field.
- University teaching experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- History of research and publication.
- Experience with learning management systems and virtual communication technology.
- Current professional qualifications, as appropriate.
- Experience in teaching statistics at the graduate level.
Florida Institute of Technology’s School of Behavior Analysis is seeking applicants for a visiting assistant professor. The area of specialty is open, but we are interested in applicants with a background in the assessment and treatment of feeding problems or skill acquisition. The position will be based at our main campus and start in Fall 2026.
Requirements for all our faculty positions: A Ph.D. in behavior analysis or a doctorate in psychology or education with an emphasis in behavior analysis, teaching experience, and evidence of research productivity. BCBA or BCBA-D certification or licensure is required.
We are recruiting candidates with strong teaching skills, and a record of peer-reviewed publications. The successful candidate will teach courses in our on-campus behavior analysis program, supervise fieldwork, supervise student research (e.g., theses, dissertations, and other projects), and advise/mentor students.
