Summary

We are seeking a Computer Game Development Lecturer to join our Keele-BFSU MA in Education, delivering a UK postgraduate module in Beijing, starting in March 2026. This is the inaugural year of our new dual-degree programme, attracting academic and professional students looking to stay at the cutting edge of technology and education. Details of Position

The position is a March – August post based in Beijing with a total teaching load of 70-80 class periods. The module includes a formative and summative assessment, as well as marking. You will work with colleagues to plan and deliver the module as well as support students.

The role requires teaching, assessment, and course management skills, making sure students have a positive and successful experience. Help students develop their creative and technical skills, combining education and technology.

Applicants should have knowledge of the game design process. Experience with educational games is especially relevant. Additionally, experience and confidence in areas such as programming or AI-assisted coding are valuable.

Flexible employment terms will be considered based on personal circumstances, including flying faculty, part-time, or full-time employment.

Qualifications

We require a relevant PhD with two years’ teaching experience.

Candidates with a background in teaching Computer Sciences or relevant Game Development experience are also encouraged to apply.
