Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong background and expertise in several of the following: data science, bioinformatics, network science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), LLMs, genomics, agentic AI, computational chemistry and related areas.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics and AI research (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Record of publications in top-tier conferences or journals in bioinformatics, AI, or related fields.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Required Work and Related Experience:
Good technical skills including at least several of the following:
- Algorithms, data analysis, graph, network, and complexity theory
- Scientific computing, statistics, machine learning, programming in C, C++, Python
- Scripting languages and MATLAB, using a parallel computing environment
- Bioinformatics, network biology, network medicine, network analytics, AI, ML, DL, LLMs, genomics, agentic AI, medical informatics, computational chemistry
