Offer Description
The person will conduct research in the field of biorobotic sensory systems, applying mechanical and mechatronic design tools and methodologies, with particular emphasis on the analysis, development, and fabrication of sensors for integration into implantable and wearable systems and robotic platforms. The activities will primarily involve finite element (FE) simulation and mechanical CAD tools, instrumentation software (LabVIEW), and computational software (MATLAB).
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the above-mentioned areas, demonstrated through previous academic, research, or professional experience. The candidate should demonstrate experience in carrying out research and development engineering projects, both independently and as part of a team, as well as communication skills in English, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding experimental and project management abilities.
