Applications are invited for a PhD position in the project sponsored by BITS Pilani (Hyderabad) and RMIT (Australia) academy. Research Position: BITS-RMIT PhD student

Title of the project: Phase field modeling of grain boundaries in micro-scale fracture of BBC OBS steel (Project code: BRJP26100014)

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: BITS-RMIT Academy

Essential Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech/MS or equivalent in Structural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering/Applied Mechanics/Material Science or allied branches with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or aggregate of 65 %.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge in finite element analysis, Advanced Mechanics of Solids, Experience in MATLAB/Python.

Project Duration: 48 months

Stipend: Rs. 45,800 p.m while at BITS and 2500 AED p.m while at RMIT
