O Centro de Biotecnologia Agrícola e Agro-Alimentar do Alentejo – CEBAL abre concurso para a contratação de um(a) Bolseiro(a) de Investigação para Licenciado, com a referência interna CBL003/2026_OLIVE4CEREAL2026, no âmbito do projeto intitulado “Olive4Cereal – Subprodutos do bagaço da azeitona para aumentar a resiliência climática dos cereais”, com referência “PL25-00001”, financiado pelo Programa PROMOVE o Futuro do Interior da Fundação La Caixa, em parceria com o Banco BPI e com a Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) – Projetos Piloto 2025.

Skills/Qualifications
Competências e Fatores Preferenciais:
- Experiência laboratorial, preferencialmente em processos de extração para obtenção de extratos, bem como na sua caraterização química e biológica;
- Interesse em investigação aplicada nas áreas da valorização de subprodutos agroindustriais;
- Excelentes competências comunicacionais orais e escritas, com capacidade colaborativa, influenciadora e espírito de equipa;
- Será fator de total preferência, em condições de igualdade, residência na região Alentejo, e disponibilidade imediata.
Competencies and Preferred Qualifications:
- Laboratory experience, preferably in extraction processes for the preparation of extracts, as well as in their chemical and biological characterization;
- Interest in applied research in the field of agro-industrial by-product valorization;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and work effectively as part of a team;
- In the event of equal qualifications, residence in the Alentejo region and immediate availability will be given strong preference.

Destinatários e Requisitos de admissão:
São admitidos a concurso os(as) candidatos(as) que reúnam cumulativamente os seguintes requisitos:
- Grau de Licenciado na área da Bioquímica, Biotecnologia, Engenharia Química, Química, ou áreas afins;
- Conhecimentos gerais em técnicas laboratoriais e/ou processos de extração e caracterização físico-química de matrizes vegetais;
- Inscrição em curso conferente de grau académico integrado no projeto educativo de uma instituição de ensino superior;
- Proficiência em Língua inglesa e espanhola, e obrigatoriedade no domínio escrito e oral da Língua portuguesa;

Candidates who cumulatively meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field;
- General knowledge of laboratory techniques and/or extraction processes and physicochemical characterization of plant-based matrices;
- Enrolment in a degree-awarding programme integrated into the educational programme of a higher education institution;
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with mandatory written and oral proficiency in Portuguese.
