This will include leading the coordination and delivery of major recruitment events such as Open Days and Offer Holder events, alongside other key institutional activity. You will provide day-to-day management and coordination of the student recruitment and events team, allocating work and supporting colleagues to deliver against priorities and deadlines. You will also build strong relationships with faculties, provide guidance and frameworks for event delivery, manage allocated budgets and suppliers, and use attendance, engagement and feedback data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement. We are looking for someone with significant experience of strategically planning and delivering large, complex events, including their logistical and budgetary requirements. You will have experience of people management, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. An understanding of the Higher Education sector, strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused when working to competing priorities will also be important.
