Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting two breast imagers to support UM Shore Regional Health, with primary on-site diagnostic mammography at our Easton, MD location. These positions are designed as full-time breast imaging roles, with the option to incorporate general radiology if desired by the candidate. The clinical work consists of a fulfilling and balanced mix of diagnostics, procedures, screeners, and Breast MRI with a collegial team.

Under new leadership, the Department is undergoing a dynamic transformation, building on a longstanding legacy of excellence. We offer:

The position can be tailored to include up to 20% academic time or be focused primarily on clinical work (higher salary), depending on the candidate's interests and career goals. Each position includes: 25 days of vacation, 11 days of CME/conference time, 15 holidays. The academic position offers an additional 40 days of academic time.

A potential leadership opportunity as Medical Director is available for experienced and enthusiastic candidates interested in programmatic development and partnership with the Department and Health System.
