Beginning with students as early as eighth grade, the Coordinator works closely with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, students, and families to promote educational opportunities, coordinate scholarship initiatives, and create meaningful pathways into Schreiner University’s nursing programs. Through outreach, advising, career exploration, scholarship coordination, and community engagement, the Coordinator supports the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals while advancing the Foundation’s vision of investing in wellness and empowering healthier communities throughout the Texas Hill Country.

The coordinator also collaborates with campus and community partners to develop and implement nursing summer camp experiences and other educational programming that provides students with hands-on learning opportunities and early exposure to healthcare careers.
