Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma 2 years custodial experience Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with manager, co-workers and patrons as necessary Ability to operate hand radio for communication Ability to successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks, required Ability to work well with others Ability to operate a variety of equipment and small hand tools, including a floor scrubber/rider Ability to read detailed room diagrams Ability to follow written instructions Ability to follow safety procedures for install/take down/storage of all equipment used for events Provide operational support as needed Ability to work outside the normal shift, as needed Must have the ability to, as well as meet, the requirements to complete and maintain mandatory training per the University mandatory training policy pursuant to the deadlines set forth therein Working Conditions and Physical Effort Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job. Must be able to constantly stand, reach and bend, twist, squat and kneel Ability to climb ladders and stairs regularly. Heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds Remove snow and ice from walkways. Ability to add/subtract read and comprehend English. Follow University safety practices.
