Overview
About the Program
The doctoral program, which has enjoyed fundamental support from the Pallas Athene Domus Meriti Foundation, is the first full-fledged, international doctoral program in the field of business administration sciences with a transdisciplinary approach administered in English. Our faculty members include visiting professors and supervisors from various countries. The majority of the students enjoy scholarships in the course of both the educational phase and the research phase of their studies.
This doctoral program is based on academic rigor which emphasizes practical relevance by welcoming practitioners to join the program. In addition to the traditional business administration approaches, the program offers a transdisciplinary approach that emphasizes the importance of using different, subtle theoretical lenses in developing analyses of diverse phenomena to be understood within an academic research framework. For further information please examine our detailed Curriculum.
The Business and Management Sciences program of the Szechenyi Istvan University enhances and amplifies the message that our Doctoral School is the right academic space where the seeds of knowledge are sown and well-trained scholars and practitioners will be the yield at the end of the program. The ultimate goal of our program is to enable doctoral students to become leaders of change in their communities both in academia and in the corporate world.
