Position Description

Performs coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Manage BrassRing for External Relations and act as the POC for department on hiring matters.
  • Recommend staff applicants for interviews based on previous work history and skills to determine if the applicant would be appropriate for departmental needs.
  • Assists the staff to understand and support organizational policies and objectives.
  • Represents the department and coordinates staff recruitment and onboarding functions to include enrollment, credentialing, orientations, and training as well as departmental orientation and training.
  • Assist the department Administrator by enforcing and developing office operations and procedures.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at https://app4.ttuhsc.edu/payplan.

Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.
