Business Development & Marketing Officer

We’re looking for a proactive and creative Business Development & Marketing Officer to support the promotion of apprenticeships and commercial opportunities across the University. Working as part of the Business Development, Research & Innovation (BDRI) Directorate, you’ll play a key role in translating marketing objectives into engaging campaigns, building relationships with employers and prospective learners, and helping to grow our apprenticeship provision.

As Business Development & Marketing Officer you can expect to be involved in:

  • Planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote apprenticeships and commercial opportunities
  • Supporting employer engagement activity and identifying new business development opportunities
  • Coordinating outreach events and activities to attract prospective apprentices and learners
  • Creating engaging marketing content and ensuring websites and communications remain accurate and up to date

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience delivering marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery and evaluation
  • Experience creating engaging content and digital marketing activity, including social media campaigns
  • Experience of business-to-business sales, marketing or employer engagement
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
