This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $56,030-$68,190 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
What You'll Own
- Coordinate the full range of departmental business and administrative functions across ITS, ensuring day-to-day operations align with University policies and procedures
- Manage financial transactions, purchasing activity, and vendor relationships, supporting accurate and timely processing across the division
- Administer contracts and service agreements, serving as a key point of contact for internal and external partners on procurement and compliance matters
- Prepare operational and financial reports that equip ITS leadership and the Director, Administration & Planning with the information needed to make sound decisions
- Monitor budget activity, track expenditures, and flag variances to support sound fiscal management across ITS cost centers
- Support planning and coordination of divisional initiatives, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-through on action items for ITS leadership
- Liaise with central University departments — including Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources — to ensure ITS administrative needs are addressed in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows and contribute to continuous improvement across ITS business operations
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Three to five years of work related experience
- Demonstrated experience in business administration, financial coordination, or operational management — ideally within higher education or a comparably structured organization
- Solid working knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable, and contract administration processes
- Proven ability to interpret and apply institutional policies, translating them into clear guidance for staff and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing clear, accurate financial or operational reports
- A collaborative approach to working across organizational boundaries, including with technology teams, finance, and external vendors
