Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Business Operations Officer, Sport to join QUT Sport, People Services, Administrative Division.

The Business Operations Officer, Sport is a key operational support role within QUT Sport, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of services, systems, and activities that underpin the success of sport programs, facilities, and events. Working collaboratively across the Sport team, this position supports software and CRM systems, data management, marketing, asset oversight, and facilities operations, while upholding compliance with university processes. The role is integral to delivering high-quality experiences for students, staff, and community members, and contributes to the ongoing success and reputation of QUT Sport.

  1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a certificate or diploma with relevant experience in sport, administration, or facility management.
  2. Demonstrated experience in providing operational and administrative support in a sport, fitness, or facility environment.
  3. Proficiency in the use of software systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to troubleshoot and support users.
  4. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
