Business Operations Specialist- MCG-Clinical & Trans Sci

Job Summary

This position will work with the CTO Director, the Clinical Translational Finance Director, the CTO staff, Business Manager and Departmental Managers to ensure all clinical research studies are properly reviewed and reconciled for financial stability. This includes reviewing and processing staff study efforts.

Responsibilities

Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and 1 year administrative and/or management experience.
OR
Associates degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
OR
High school diploma and 3 years of administrative and fiscal management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Knowledge and direct experience in financial and budgetary practices, fiscal data administration as well as compliance and records management.

SKILLS

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

ABILITIES

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, maintain confidentiality, keep accurate records and make independent decisions.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required).

Salary: $52,500-$55,000 annually.

Pay Band: B10

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.

This position is (fully/partially) funded through external sources. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of these funds.
