ABOUT THE POSITION

Fulbright University Vietnam invites applications for open-rank faculty positions in Business to begin in August 2026. These hires will form the foundational team of a new, interdisciplinary business program embedded within a liberal arts context.
We invite candidates from all business disciplines, such as strategy, management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, international business, analytics, operations, sustainability, and technology/AI.
Successful candidates will:

• Help design and launch Fulbright’s new interdisciplinary Business program, contributing to curriculum development, new course proposals, learning outcomes, and the program’s long-term academic vision.
• Teach a range of undergraduate courses, from introductory and intermediate classes to advanced electives in their areas of expertise.
• Maintain an active research agenda and engage in interdisciplinary scholarship across fields such as economics, policy, data science, psychology, and the humanities.
• Advise and mentor students, including guidance on undergraduate research, applied projects, and senior capstones.
• Build partnerships with industry, NGOs, startups, and policy organizations to expand experiential learning and applied opportunities for students.

Qualifications

Required

• Ph.D. in Business or a closely related field (ABD candidates will be considered)
• Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and student-centered learning
• Experience teaching or developing courses in one or more business disciplines
• An active or emerging research agenda with the potential for meaningful scholarly contribution

Preferred

• Experience in liberal arts, interdisciplinary, or international higher-education environments
• Interest in curriculum innovation, program development, or pedagogical experimentation
• Applied or industry experience relevant to business practice, entrepreneurship, or analytic
• Experience supervising undergraduate research, applied projects, or capstone work
