Job Summary:

This position will provide operational leadership, project management, and programmatic oversight for the Movement Disorders TeleNeurology UPL Program, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Development and Neurology Champion UPL Program, and related Fellowship Programs. The role is responsible for both overarching and day-to-day management in support of associated faculty and staff, including developing, implementing, and continuously improving program processes and workflows. Responsibilities include strategic planning, managing program goals, outcomes, budgets, and finances, overseeing staff, and making operational and program development decisions. The position will oversee all aspects of teleneurology clinical operations, including logistical planning, procurement, and implementation, and will work closely with UCHealth clinic and administrative personnel, Echo Colorado partners, outside contracted services, Neurology department administrative leadership, UCH neurosciences staff, and faculty medical directors to ensure effective execution. Additionally, this role designs and executes process improvements and key performance indicators to support program efficiency, compliant with University of Colorado, CU Medicine, and UCHealth regulations, funding requirements, and long-term program growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive operational, financial, and strategic oversight for the Movement Disorders Teleneurology, Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Development and Neurology Champion UPL Program, and related Fellowship Programs to ensure effective day-to-day operations, long-term planning, and sustainable growth.
  • Manage program timelines, scope, resources, staffing needs, and training requirements across both programs.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational workflows and quality improvement/performance improvement (QI/PI) initiatives.
  • Participate in regular program and section meetings, presenting updates on clinical activity, research initiatives, and program performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both programs.
  • Collaborate closely with department leadership, Neurology providers, CU Medicine, UCHealth, Echo Colorado partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong local, national, and international relationships with subject matter experts, professional societies, and institutional partners.
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Location: Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Intermediate Professional
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
o Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
o Substitution: An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
- One (1) years of professional experience administrative or office management role.

Senior Professional
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
o Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
o Substitution: An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
- Two (2) years of experience serving in an administrative or office management role

Principal Professional
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
o Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
o Substitution: An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
- 3+ years of experience serving in an administrative or office management role
- 4+ years of experience working in an academic medical office environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating meetings including providing concise written documentation.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Experience working in academic medical environment and/or institution of higher education.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience creating and maintaining electronic databases.
  • 4 years of experience working in an academic medical office environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Commitment to practice robust skills of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Superior attention to detail, computer sophistication, and the ability to manipulate web-based report systems.
  • Ability to work with University officers, faculty and staff in a competent, confidential and professional manner.
  • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to plan and organize Chair and Department needs and activities.
  • Ability to establish work priorities and provide follow though to ensure completion of activities.
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to become fully competent in computer programs, including Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). Software used will continue to change so adaptability to new electronic programs and tools is essential.
  • Ability to understand and apply regulatory requirements at the program level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with administrative personnel, physicians, program personnel, prospective faculty recruits, and other constituents, in written communications and/or oral presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required in order to work with faculty, staff and others in an environment of high intensity and stress.

  • Intermediate Professional: $55,975 - $71,200
  • Senior Professional: $60,514 - $76,974
  • Principal Professional: $69,591 - $88,519
