Parking and Transportation Services manages daily parking functions, event parking, and shuttle services. The department coordinates parking and transportation activities with campus events, daily operations, and shuttle routes. Departmental work includes parking coordination, shuttle operations, and daily transportation support.
Job Description
This position provides essential administrative, financial, and customer service support for Missouri S&T Parking and Transportation Services
Business Support Functions:
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person, via phone, and through electronic communications
- Process payments for Parking and Transportation Services
- Greet and assist visitors, route calls, and respond to general inquiries
- Track and reconcile payments for services
- Research and compile information for reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Manage HR Processes including posting positions, setting up interviews, and timekeeping
- Process requisitions, vouchers, and related financial documentation
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, resolve issues, and manage orders
- Order necessary equipment and materials
- Accurately process payments and prepare bank deposits
- Assist in maintaining departmental website content, registration forms, and social media presence
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Parking and Transportation Services:
- Use parking software to handle inquiries, issue permits, and process payments
- Support parking enforcement officers with field inquiries
- Provide customer service assistance in parking garages, including payment troubleshooting
- Assist with operations, including but not limited to, event and shuttle service logistics, scheduling, and dispatch.
- Compile monthly reports on shuttle usage
- Drive shuttle routes, as needed
- Assist with special projects, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in excel, word, PeopleSoft, time management, and scheduling
- Required to get a Class E license
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $17.05-$18.50 hourly.
