Business Technology Workforce Solutions Trainer Pool - Adjunct (Part-time)
Chippewa Valley Technical College is establishing a pool of qualified candidates for Workforce Solutions & Continuing Education trainers in the Business Technology area.
A Workforce Solutions & Continuing Education trainer collaborates with businesses to develop and administer customized training or professional development seminars for employees. These sessions enhance employee skills and productivity and are held at CVTC's campuses or the company's location. Assignments offer flexibility, with trainers hired on a per course basis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with businesses to develop customized training or professional development seminars.
 - Provide training to enhance employee skills and productivity.
 - Collaborate with businesses to determine training dates and times.
 - Demonstrate commitment to customer service.
 - Participate in college activities and pursue ongoing professional development.
 
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 - Ability to manage the classroom effectively.
 - Ability to work collaboratively with the internal community.
 - Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with the external community.

 - Ability to think critically by applying problem-solving practices, acquiring relevant information, using technology and other resources appropriately, and evaluating alternatives.

 - Basic to intermediate knowledge of and skills with technology used for communication and teaching; including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred.
 - Minimum of two years relevant and current occupational experience in the area being taught.
 - Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
