Indiana State University's Office of Information Technology has an immediate opening for a Cabling Infrastructure Technician with in-depth knowledge and experience supporting enterprise structured cabling infrastructure with specific experience with fiber optic and copper data cabling. This exciting position works with a team of dedicated, customer focused professionals to provide reliable, high performing, and capable structured cabling infrastructure for the University.
Job Summary
Position functions as the lead technician responsible for all aspects of structured cabling. The position installs, manages, and maintains fiber-optic and copper cabling used to provide data services to the campus. Position also interfaces with contractors to ensure standards and best practices are followed.
