Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Capability and Wellbeing Coordinator to support the delivery of UC's core staff capability and wellbeing development programme. In this varied role, you will coordinate training schedules, maintain and improve our online learning and professional development systems, analyse data to identify trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programme. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and ensure smooth programme delivery.

You will be part of a passionate and dynamic team that values collaboration, personal growth, and making a positive impact. Mōu | Who You Are

We are looking for an organised, proactive team player to join our team. You will bring the following skills and experiences:

  • administration experience in a similar role ideally within HR, Learning & Development or a wellbeing-focused function
  • a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related discipline, desirable
  • exposure to HR systems, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) or professional development/performance management platforms. Experience with Prolorus or Totora, would be an advantage
  • strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage and support managers at all levels
  • advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)
  • proven accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend practical solutions
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to train and guide others
  • you will be committed to UC's values, with te reo Māori skills an advantage.
