Assists the physician in the performance of Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Performs Stress Exercise Echocardiograms in the Heart Station with the Stress Laboratory personnel. Follows standardized approach for handoff communication Follows policy for communication including the opportunity to ask and respond to questions Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Education/Experience/Licensing: • Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or higher relevant degree required • Must be registered in Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS or obtain within six (6) months of hire. • Computer knowledge required. • AHA/CPR certification required in Basic Life Support Health Care Provider • Experience in non-invasive cardiology preferred. Required Communication and other skills: • Must be able to be on-call and work independently when called in. • Must be able to be on-call and be in to the hospital within 1 hour when called in.
