Offer Description
Main tasks:
- Conducting and developing research activities in the field of philosophy, including publishing research findings and pursuing new research topics;
Formal requirements:
- Meeting the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Act on Higher Education and Science;
- Holding a doctoral degree (PhD) or a post-doctoral habilitation degree (DSc);
- Submission of all documents required to enter the competition.
Specific Requirements:
- Holding a doctoral degree in the field and/or discipline of the humanities/philosophy;
- Having a research record comprising at least four scholarly publications in the field of philosophy of religion and/or philosophy published within the last four years (articles published in journals included in the list of journals recognised by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education or chapters in peer-reviewed academic monographs), or authorship of a scholarly monograph or an international publication;
- At least one year of experience in conducting academic research;
- Experience in preparing or submitting at least one research funding application or participation in a research project;
- At least one year of teaching experience in higher education, including a minimum total of 60 teaching hours in the field and/or discipline of the humanities/philosophy;
- At least six months of experience working as part of a team, including participation in a research, project, or organisational team, or at least six months of experience carrying out organisational duties for an academic unit;
- Willingness to supervise diploma theses and conduct a diploma seminar;
- Ability to deliver teaching in a clear, well-structured, and engaging manner;
- Very good command of Polish, both spoken and written, enabling the candidate to deliver teaching in a fluent, clear, and engaging manner;
- English language proficiency at a minimum level of B2+.

- CV (academic and professional curriculum vitae);
- Scanned copy of the diploma confirming the award of a doctoral degree (PhD) or post-doctoral habilitation degree (DSc);
- List of research and teaching achievements from the last 5 years, including information on published monographs, articles, reviews, active participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research, and achievements in student education;
- List of any scientific awards;
- Information on organizational achievements;
- Set of candidate statements for employment*:
- statement on the primary place of work
- statement on assignment to a discipline and inclusion in the N number
- statement on the obligation to submit a Research and Academic Development Schedule
- statement of no criminal record
- clause concerning fulfillment of the information obligation
- consent to the processing of personal data
