The Career & Experiential Learning Program Director (Program
Director 1) will provide leadership for the career-development and
experiential-learning components of the Academic Achievers Program
(AAP), helping students translate academic success into meaningful
professional opportunities and strong post-graduation outcomes. The
Program Director will oversee implementation of the AAP Career
Accelerator, a multi-year professional-development model that
connects career exploration, mentoring, experiential learning,
internships, professional skill development, and employment
preparation. Working with students from a broad range of academic
disciplines, the Program Director will help students identify
career pathways, develop professional portfolios, secure meaningful
applied experiences, and build the skills, networks, and confidence
necessary to transition successfully from college to employment or
advanced study. The Career Accelerator is designed around a
four-year progression from career exploration to early experience,
substantial professional experience, and ultimately employment or
graduate education.
Experience will be considered in lieu of
education.
