Work Location: 11th Floor, Science and Technology building, Shantou University Medical College, Shantou, Guangdong, P.R. China

Area of research assignment:

Clinical, Global Health, and Public Health Research in the area of –

• Infectious diseases (including tropical and neglected infectious diseases and emerging infections)
• Non-communicable diseases and disorders (of regional significance)

Open positions and desired qualifications:

Research Associate

• Master in clinical medicine, global health, or public health, with good medical and scientific English
• at least 2 years of work experience in the related field
• good SCI publication record
• ability to work with minimal supervision, design and perform independent research projects
• ability to publish scientific papers in English

Research Assistant

• Bachelor in clinical medicine, epidemiology, or public health, with good medical and scientific English
• strong interest in research (with proven evidence of research experience)
• strong motivation to learn and adhere to scientific integrity
• ability to design and perform supervised research projects
• strong motivation to publish scientific papers in English

Appointment term: Yearly extendable contract

Recruitment Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience
