Provide sketches of objects to be built in the carpenter shop
and installed throughout the campus buildings
Operate all carpenter related equipment
Perform all carpentry related functions
Complete work orders and PM (Preventive Maintenance) slips
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school diploma or other carpentry and or masonry
credentials desired
Experience
- 5 years of residential and/or commercial building
experience
- Ability to work with wood, metal, or materials necessary for
fabrication, repair, and renovation of all buildings
- Knowledge of tools, building supplies, and hardware associated
with building trade
- Computer experience and ability to understand CAD drafting uses
and blueprints
- Knowledge of roofing, concrete work, window, and door
installation also desired
- Ability to use table saws, band saws, planers, and other tools
generally associated with building trades
- Some experience with tile work preferred including
grouting
- Some masonry experience preferred including repointing, and
laying brick
Skills and Knowledge

Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $23.76
to $28.00. Placement within the range depends on experience and
