OverviewThe
College of Human Sciences is hiring for a
Cary Center Programs Coordinator. This position plans, coordinates, delivers and manages outreach or extension educational services and programs to accomplish outreach goals and objectives including communications, education, research, community assistance and quality management.
Responsibilities- Maintains the Women's Philanthropy Board (WPB) membership database and renewal process as the Membership Coordinator, supporting WPB's Managing Director to ensure long-term financial sustainability of all programs, events, and initiatives within the division. Supports WPB with marketing strategies to retain and grow membership and engagement with programs and events.
Supports the planning and execution of all WPB educational programs and engagement events.Monitors the budget ensuring policies and procedures are followed regarding revenues, expenses, and reimbursements.Supports the Director of Community and Collegiate Programs with administrative tasks and organizational needs, including managing the event registration process. Assists with event preparation, including organizing materials, coordinating logistics, and ensuring all supplies and documentation are ready in advance of in-person and virtual programs and events.Assists the Executive Director with day-to-day operations and facility management of the Halliday Cary Pick House, historical home and location of the Cary Center.May provide assistance and support on special projects, initiatives, programs, and/or events for the Cary Center.May support and assist with Cary Center Youth Programs administrative and organizational needs of this division.Applies problem-solving and organizational skills to anticipate needs and streamline event operations for events hosted at or by the Cary Center.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree- no specific discipline
Note:- Master's degree may be required for positions requiring specialized knowledge.
