Established local company specializing in property development, asset management, property management and residential construction is seeking an experienced accounting professional. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational and analytical skills, a dedicated work ethic and must work well in a fast-paced environment and still be able to meet essential deadlines. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, reconciling bank statements, processing a large volume of bank transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with projects as needed. This role has a significant impact on the financial health and success of the organization and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the company’s financial transactions while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and record daily bank transactions
- Prepare and process deposits, transfers, and wires
- Process ACH/EFT Payments
- Produce daily and weekly cash reports
- Reconcile accounts receivable
- Complete bank reconciliations
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience required
- 1 to 2 years of previous banking or treasury experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with high volume data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of MRI or other accounting software
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and management
