Job Description
To assist customers leaving the visitor garages by operating the fee computer gates and other hardware while processing payments of cash, checks, validations, and credits cards. The give out campus information and directions to the guests, patient and the public. To assist the customer service manager in the performance of his/her tasks.

Some knowledge of principles and processes for providing effective customer services and providing information. Some knowledge of payment handling procedures and the use of related equipment. Some knowledge of procedures for calculating parking charges, collecting fees from customers, and responding to customer inquiries. Demonstrates ability to effectively interact with the public and promote a positive image of the University.

Level and type of experience
Some customer service experience. Some experience working as a cashier to include receiving and accounting for money, balancing a cash drawer and reconciling reports. Some experience working at a customer service desk and providing information to customers.

Additional Considerations
Ability to work alternative shift (day/night/weekend).

Ability to be able to work evenings. Ability to be able to work weekends. Ability to be able to work rotating hours.
