Casual Concierge/Food & Beverage Attendant
About This Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer focused Concierge/Food and Beverage Attendants to support the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services at UQ Brisbane City. This role plays a key part in creating an outstanding customer experience for guests, event organisers, and visitors.
This is a casual position, with staff typically working approximately 15 – 25 hours per week. Availability Monday to Friday is essential, with occasional weekend shifts as required.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Welcome guests, oversee venue guidelines, and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and clean coffee machines, set up meeting rooms, and assist event organisers
- Serve food and beverages, manage stock, and handle event equipment setup and pack down
- Maintain cleanliness of the venue and respond to email inquiries
- Responding to queries received to the Concierge email inbox and forwarding event enquiries to the events team
- Any other reasonable request of management
This is a casual position at Food & Beverage Grade 2 Load rate $36.15 per hour plus 12% superannuation.
About You
- Experience in a similar or related hospitality role
- Current Responsible Service of alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- A positive attitude and customer driven focus
- High standard of professionalism and excellent Customers Services Skills
- A commitment to excellence of product and service
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
