Casual Digital Education Officer - Talent Pool - Law and Justice

The Faculty of Law & Justice is seeking expressions of interest from creative and collaborative Digital Education Officer (Media) professionals to join our Education Design & Quality team as part of a casual talent pool, with opportunities to be engaged on an ad hoc, project-based basis as needs arise.

In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the student learning experience through the creation and delivery of high-quality digital media. Working closely with academic and professional staff, you will support the development of engaging, innovative learning resources across a range of formats.

About the Role

Reporting to the Education Design & Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of digital media solutions that enrich teaching and learning.

You will:

  • Provide advice and support to academic staff on the creation, management and use of digital media for teaching
  • Deliver end-to-end media production services, including ideation, filming, editing, and publishing of video and audio content
  • Manage faculty media resources and studio facilities, including equipment procurement, maintenance, and bookings
  • Collaborate with the Education Design & Quality team on digital education projects
  • Ensure compliance with university policies including copyright, privacy, and accessibility standards
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety requirements

About You

You are a proactive and technically skilled media professional with a passion for education and digital innovation.

You will bring:

  • A degree in media production, digital communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience delivering multimedia projects from concept through to post-production
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with digital media tools, web technologies, and educational platforms
  • An understanding of learning design principles and the role of digital media in education
  • Experience managing equipment, studio spaces, or similar resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-service focus
  • A collaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships

Working Arrangements

  • On-campus role, ideally Monday to Friday (minimum 4 days per week)
