Are you looking for casual work opportunities? Charles Sturt University maintains a Casual Employment Register for individuals interested in casual or short-term employment opportunities across various general and professional functions.

What is the Casual Employment Register?

Our Casual Employment Register is for people interested in working at the university on a casual basis in non-academic roles. When temporary needs arise, we review the register and contact suitable candidates to discuss potential assignments. Facilities and Maintenance

Hospitality

Learning and Teaching Support

Technical and specialist higher education support roles

How Does It Work?

Express Your Interest – Complete the online application form, including information about your skills, experience, availability, preferred location, and pay rate expectations.
Stay on the Register – Your details will remain on our register for up to three months. If your circumstances change, you can update or remove your information.
Potential Opportunities – When a casual/temporary role becomes available that matches your skills and availability, we may contact you to discuss the opportunity.
Employment Conditions – Casual employees are engaged by the university in accordance with applicable industrial and statutory requirements.
